Nothing Is

I had wanted to create a half-white and half-black background piece for some time before I drew this piece. Many people think jays are obnoxious birds that bully other birds at feeders, but Blue Jays are not one-dimensional. They have a quieter side that I've seen many times during nesting season. I used two reference photos of jays with different attitudes to add to my theme here, that nothing is black and white.
